Interestingly enough, I can tell the difference between Ohio ground beef and the ground beef in Oregon. Why is that, I wonder?
I don't really know what "gamey" tastes like, since I've never eaten anything that would even qualify as "game," but that is the only way I can describe the difference between Oregonian beef and Ohioan beef. The Ohio beef is grainy, gristle-y, and veiny. You can see little round balls of fat all throughout it! YUCK.
Good luck with your nasty beef, Ohioans. I'm not on board.
