Anthropomorphism

n: anthropomorphism:  attribution of human motivation, characteristics, or behavior to inanimate objects, animals, or natural phenomena.
adj: anthropomorphic

That is to say, claiming a dog as jealous, saying a cat is pouting, referring to a horse as a drama queen . . . perhaps you are an anthropomorphist too?  It's not such a bad thing to be!
