Well, I'm going to do it -- UPDATED!

I'm going to change my URL.  I posted a question in the forum, and what I took from the advice is that it's a giant undertaking that I will probably regret, but if I am going to do it then I should tell everyone beforehand.

So, here I am.  Telling you.  I'm going to change it to:  http://thisisinprogress.blogspot.com/

Not sure if it's just as stupid as http://kate4148.blogspot.com/, or if it's a stroke of genius.  Either way, I'm stuck with it because some schmuck out there stole http://inprogress.blogspot.com/.  He hasn't posted anything since 2001.

I'm sure he's right on the cusp of something.

To sum up:  http://kate4148.blogspot.com/ will be changing to http://thisisinprogress.blogspot.com/ at some point in the near future.  Unless I change my mind.  Or come up with something better.  Or both.  Or neither. It's late; what can I say?

At any rate, I wouldn't worry about it too much because I will retain http://kate4148.blogspot.com/ with a link to the new URL (whatever it turns out to be)(if I even change it).

Any advice would be appreciated in the form of a comment.  "Don't do it!" or "Can't wait, kate4148 is STUPID!"  Whatever you've got . . . I'll take it.

I'm not going to do it.  Or rather, I did, but I've switched it back to my rusty, trusty "kate4148" because all my links in my sidebars stopped working when I changed my URL.  No one in the Blogger Help Forum said that would happen!  Very disappointing.
